During the pandemic Rob Haskell, founder of Mount Baker Tiny Homes, decided that building tiny homes sounded like the perfect activity to pass time. So he bought a trailer and using is extensive knowledge of the construction and the trades, he started building. Since the start, his goal was always to build as light and strong as possible. And since Rob always enjoys rooms with lots of sunlight, he made sure to use lots of windows.
After building some one-offs, he then set about making a standard model that could be iterated and perfected. His goal was to build a tiny home that was fun to live in, used quality materials, could be manufactured quickly, and was affordable. Based on that idea, he started Mount Baker Tiny Homes and began producing the Pacifica model.
Production is scheduled to ramp up in 2024. Be sure to pre-order if you want in on the action!
